Dr. Yeshimebet Ali Dawed (General Manager and co-founder)
Dr. Yeshimebet Ali Dawed is a Senior Public Health Specialist with an extensive experience in public health nutrition, holding degrees including a PhD in Public Health. Currently an assistant professor at Wollo University, Dessie, Ethiopia, she is deeply involved in research, project design, coordination, monitoring and evaluation. Dr. Dawed has led numerous projects, contributed to the national nutrition initiatives, and received recognition for her research, including awards and international presentations.
Foziya Mohammed Hussien (Vice Manager and co-founder)
Foziya Mohammed Hussien is an assistant professor of public health nutrition at Wollo University, Ethiopia. She has made significant contributions to diverse areas of public health research, with a particular focus on public health nutrition, as evidenced by her impressive record of a number of scientific articles in reputable international journals. She has extensive experience of project design, monitoring and evaluation of public health interventions.
Dr. Hamid Y. Hassen (NCD team leader)
Dr. Hamid Y. Hassen is a distinguished epidemiologist renowned for his expertise in public health research and implementation of public health interventions. With a Master's and Ph.D. in Epidemiology at the University of Antwerp (Belgium), Dr. Hassen has dedicated his career to understanding and addressing health challenges in diverse settings. His extensive research experience spans across Ethiopia, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Europe, where he has served in pivotal roles as a coordinator, regional coordinator, and principal investigator.
Mohammed Feyisso Shaka (MCH team leader)
Mohammed Feyisso Shaka is an experienced public health researcher with a master of public health degree and an extensive experience in research, project and program evaluation over the past decade. Currently serving as an assistant professor at Madda Walabu University in Ethiopia, he has managed numerous national and international research projects, demonstrating proficiency in grant writing, manuscript publication, project management, monitoring and evaluation.
Mohammed Ali Ibrahim (Business strategist)
Mohammed Ali Ebrahim is a senior procurement and logistics specialist currently employed in the e-GP Project under the Ministry of Finance, Public Procurement and Property Authority. Holding an MA degree in Logistics and supply chain management from Addis Ababa University School of Commerce, Mr. Ali boasts over a decade of experience in procurement and logistics. He has progressed from a junior expert to a team leader in both governmental and donor organizations, demonstrating expertise in various procurement reform activities.
